## A Note on Activation

Most TV-connected devices — including streaming devices, smart TVs, and gaming consoles — require a one-time activation step to link your TV provider subscription. The process is quick: the app displays a short code on your screen, and you enter it at **DisneyNow\.com/activate** from any phone or computer. You only need to do this once per device. See the full [Activate Your Device](/help/activate) guide for step-by-step instructions.

Mobile and web users have a simpler path — just tap Sign In, pick your provider from the list, and enter your provider credentials directly in the app or browser. No activation portal needed.
